For the first time on picture disc, Beggars Arkive is reissuing The Charlatans� iconic second single, �The Only One I Know,� newly remastered at Abbey Road Studios by Frank Arkwright. Originally released in 1990, the track became the highest-charting single in the UK from their seminal debut album, Some Friendly.
The song draws inspiration from music history, incorporating lines directly lifted from The Byrds' 1967 track �Everybody's Been Burned� and featuring a distinctive organ riff inspired by Deep Purple�s rendition of �Hush.�
