Ben Ottewell, the singer-songwriter and lead guitarist and singer of much loved band Gomez, is renowned for his distinctive vocals and mesmerising guitar skills. Rolling Stone hailed him as "Gomez's not-so-secret weapon," while GQ Magazine described his voice as not of this world. 

Ottewell has delighted crowds with a string of successful acoustic tours across the UK, US, and Australia. Join us in the stunning setting of St Mary's Church for what promises to be a very special performance with Ben performing beloved Gomez classics alongside selections from his acclaimed solo albums "Shapes & Shadows," "Rattlebag," and "A Man Apart".

We're excited to announce that support will come from Nicky Phillips. Born and bred in London, Nicky Phillips felt the pull to move north, writing and sharing her open-hearted songs through intimate performances across North West England. Nicky performs regularly around Manchester (Matt & Phred’s, The Whiskey Jar, The Fitzgerald, to name a few) and has performed at prestigious venues in London (The Bedford, the Southbank Centre, The Troubadour). She has also performed at larger events including Cheshire Fest and Knutsford Music Festival.
